I’m a mom, teacher, and writer for adults and children. This blog encompasses just that, this crazy beautiful journey!

Ever since I was little, I’ve always loved writing and making up stories. Nature and children are my biggest inspiration.

I love learning about how we can continue to protect our beautiful planet and finding ways to share these bigs ideas with the little ones who will shape the future of our world.

I’ve worked with children in school gardens and spent summers working for a non-profit organization educating children about the beauty of nature.

One of my children’s poems will be published in the inaugural issue of Prickly Pear Kids by Agave Press this winter. My work has also appeared on various parenting websites such as Red Tricycle and Motherly.  I have an M.A. in elementary education and B.A. in journalism. In addition, I was one of the top 20 winners in Vivian Kirkfield’s #50 Precious Words Contest. Repped by Jessica Schmeidler of Golden Wheat Literary.
